So, old cam is rivited
Do I remove them? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/huh.gif) How???? Or just buy a new / good used Gear? |

Better to buy a new one. They are only about $30 or so. If you try and re-use the old one, you will have to drill out the rivets, and then have the holes in the cam gear counterbored to make room for the bolt heads. If you don't counterbore, then the bolt heads will hit the oil pump. Just not worth it for $30.
