I found a great source (cheap) for powder coating!
It's winter here and I may as well do a complete teardown while I'm in there! (ala: Turtle Girl) Give me a list of what you'd do! I'm thinking: control arms engine tin pistons (yeah, it's the all the rage) Am I missing anything? really, gimme ideas (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/chowtime.gif) |

[QUOTE] ok smart guy, I'll try to make this easy for you. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/slap.gif) My rocker panels are fiberglass my front valance is all dented and will probably be replaced with a chin spoiler. "heater tubes, and flapper boxes" (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/idea.gif) How far do I have to turn the front wheels to get those to show? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif) I'll ask again... "Can any of you think of 914 parts, that particularly show, which might be those that flatter the general form or function of our beloved afformentioned car?" Continued..."there might be those of you who may suggest I (do a) search "Haynes Manual" & "nouns (not plastic)" for a short list of items that are metal and capable of powder coating but that would be a different thread. If, in fact, you have restored a 914 and can recall those items that were particularly appealing in a powder coated form; please feel free to reply. Otherwise... Kiss my chain smoking ass! |
