OK so I have these 993 rotors laying around and figure I can put them on my car and have some great brakes. I have a pair of 911 struts and hubs coming from the west coast but figured I would get a jump on this with the extra hubs I won on EBAY. That way if I mess up I can just get some carrera rotors and use regular good brakes. I have been looking at some of the 911 guys brake conversions on the bird board. The hubs need to fit down inside of these rotors but need to be modified so they will go in.

I dont have a lathe here at the house and there is a new guy over in plant maint who is watching guys to see who is doing home projects (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/unsure.gif) So I figured out if I put them on the rear axel studs I could spin the axel and use a die grinder to remove the extra lip (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool_shades.gif)
