That image is VW and prolly a 2L bus

0 231 174 009 = VW 039 905 205

It is interchangeable with..

0 231 174 011 which was used on the VW 2L and the Porsche 2L = 039 905 205A

VW never used D-jet on the 2 litre engines fitted to any vehicles sold in the USA, and likely the ROW. This distributor is NOT used in VWs, only Porsches. Neither is the "011". The Cap'n

Well Cap'n....no argument with me....you can argue with the Bosch ESI....'cause the Bosch number translates to the VW & Porsche application as shown according to their CD.

Up to 07/74 on the 914 2.0L, Bosch supplied 0 231 174 011
From 08/74 on the 914 2.0L, Bosch supplied 0 231 172 021
USA Models - 70 kW - 08/72 thru 12/75

Bosch also shows a 914 with no country desigination but producing 74 kW which used the 0 231 174 011

The bus was a guess as it didn't show fitting the Porsche.
