I'm not sure about you, but I've been looking around at the cost and availability of engine compartment seals, and I'm amazed at how expensive these are. Mine were all baked off from a fire, and I must replace all.
I can make these, but to break even on the die I need to find 40 people that would buy them at $50. I might just have them made if there is enough serious interest. I'm not sure that there's that much interest, that's why I thought I might post this to see. Also as I understand there are 2 different seals I above the engine, and the other 3 sides are the same. If all 4 are the same the cost would be significantly less as only one die would be required. I'm not looking to get rich, I just want to get some parts at a more reasonable cost. -Mark |

Maybe the upper rear is the way to go. I couldn't find the listing for the seals you referenced at Pelican. I started this project as I was frustrated at having to buy short seals and wasn't able to find the front one. I'm sure that at the very least some other member will benifit.
