I am putting a 2.0L exhaust on my 1.7L 914 and i was wondering do i buy the 2.0L cylinder head gasket or the 1.7L cylinder head gasket.

The exhaust gaskets go with the heads. You have 1.7 heads, so use the 1.7 exhaust gaskets.
You can anneal the copper to soften it up, but you do not have to. It is a way to re-use old copper exhaust gaskets, supposedly. --DD |
