TIV engines don't like and don't need a ton of intake charge..
Most of my 2270cc engines run a 40mm T/B I run 42mm on the 2316 for up to 7,000 revs..... 45mm if the engine is good for more than that. 45mm will feed up to a 2615 without issues. Beyond that depending on rev range I go with 48s. Some engines like differing sizes due to cam, efficiency and exhaust system. All that charge going in is no good if 80% of it can be exhausted.. The Mighty Spyder is smaller than 2400cc but uses a 50mm T/B arrangement, but its non conventional and revs past 8,500 RPM... My 3 liter has now been destroked to a 2771 and will be running a 52mm T/B set up. Its all in the combo... Mac, did you reply to my email? I need to know how much $$ to send and where to send it. I need the unit next week! |
