My driver door doesn't open from the outside and I've been told that most likely the plastic cam is broken. I checked the tangs on the flapper and they are not broken. I've done a search here but can't find a replacement thread for the cam. Is there a thread and could somebody point me to it? If not, can someone explain the process?
Thanks, Kevin |

It depends what you repaired/replaced. If you had to replace the flapper, I assume you replaced the rivet with a bolt. If so, I have seen the bolts bind against the body if they are a hair too long, or if the nut sticks out too far. It is tough to say without feeling the problem.
