Are spacers needed to fit these 15x7" wheels on a stock fendered car. My 16x6 Fuchs don't have much clearance between the trailing arm. No I don't have a set of 911R wheels, just thinking.

I've seen 911R wheels pop up from time to time on Pelican and Rennlist classifieds. They cost as much as some reasonably nice 914's...
I went the rolling and pulling route on my rear fenders and can fit 15x7's or 16x7's with 205 Hoosiers (wide). If I ever repaint the car I'll probably do the 'slicing' trick to get enough room to squeeze 225's. Most of the VARA cars are set up this way - 225/50 Kumhos on 15x7 Fuchs with a stock-appearing body. |
