Ok, just picked up my refurbed distributer from the FLAPS. I've got a question on the part number that is imprinted on the distributer. I have a '75 2.0L right now, just for information.
Here's what I got from the FLAPS...Is this one ok to use? 0 231 172 009 311 905 205 AE Isn't that 311 number from a type 3 engine? By the way, this thing came with new points, condenser and FI trigger points. The vacuum canister is just repainted silver, cheesy looking. Comparing it to my old dizzy, the shaft is nice and tight, with no slop....man, I didn't realize my old one was so bad.... |
