(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) A big hurrah to McMark for facilitating an excellent wheel restoration!
No more fugly bubbly, peeling chrome (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/icon8.gif) All painted & polished. They look like new! They are (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif) beautiful! Attached image(s) |

They used to have chrome but aluminum doesn't like being chromed and eventually rejects it, hence the fugly bubbly peeling (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/icon8.gif) Pretty sure it was not factory chrome-work. What you see in the pictures here are all polished aluminum. And Aaron, I was cautioned by a co-worker yesterday not to have the clear powdercoating as it will yellow over time (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/icon8.gif) |
