ok, so this may be a stupid question but it pondered me during class. If you took the engine and transmission out of a 911, say the 915 transmission, and in the 911 the axles turned clockwise, therefore turning the wheels foward...
But if you were to flip it around, to put into a 914, the transmission would now be spinning the wheels counter-clockwise. I think I must be missing a big issue. I am just curious, as I am trying to build up a knowledge of a 6 conversion. Please dont rip on me that much!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) |

It's usually preferred to stay 901 until you recover from buying the engine and doing the swap. By then you've had some driving time and can decide how you like it and how much more you want to spend. |
