I need to replace my tires this year. Part of the look of my car is the nostalgia of the 15" X8" Fuch wheels with tall side walls. That's how I remeber these cars back in the day. That's what I like. I have 235/60/15 Yokohama rears, and 215/60/15 fronts. I want to increase the contact patch in the rear without loosing the tall side wall. I found some 245/50/15 Dunlaps but I think I loose 1.5" If I figured it right.... I'm feeling like I need to spend some money again for 16" wheels... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) Any suggestions? I want to retain the look. I don't care that the car will handle better. If you know me by now, you know it's all about the cool factor to me.

I'm stuck in the 70's. I found some Toyo's in Sport Truck rubber.. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) Alas, I may have to move on and part the car. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

part the car???

you need to go to lower profile rubber, go to a bigger rim, or go to hoosiers to get the size and OD you want....

no other choices.....

with those mongo sidewalls and an HB, youll be doing like 90 at 2000 rpm LOL
