Come one. Come all. Help us celebrate. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif)
When: Wed. April 18th 1:00 pm Where: Hooter Casino on Tropicana in Las Vegas. If you have been around the Club for any length of time, you know the buyer, you know the seller and you know the car. The new owner is flying into Vegas at noon on Wednesday, April 18th. You are all invited to come witness the change of ownership at the Hooters Casino. After the exchange the new owner will be driving his new prize home. Ok. Start guessing. Who is the seller? Who is the buyer? |

forget about the car... where's them hooter pics? j/k... congrats Ferg! John had to work, so I imagine he'll get pics posted when he gets home later tonight. It was good seeing Ferg again. We should all be very proud of him, not one complaint! I'd like to say it's because the car was so good he couldn't find anything wrong, but we all know that's not true. I think he's just happy to have something he can enjoy driving without being so concerned about it getting hurt. I suggested he pick up a lug wrench, in the event of a flat (the car already had the jack and hubcap removal tool) and he said quite confidently that in the event of a flat, he has AAA. He was a pleasure to deal with, and I'm sure they'll have many happy miles together. Last I heard he made it to Utah in short order, with no issues. I did notice a little more leakage than usual when looking it over in the parking lot. It had a very light leak from the oil cooler seals ever since the engine was installed, but now the filter was a bit wet. So either the light leak progressed to a class II, or it may have a bad oil filter. It just had an oil change a few weeks ago, and everything looked great, so I'm betting on a bad filter, or maybe the seal on the old filter got stuck to the filter console, and now it has two seals sandwiched together. Either way it's not leaking enough to be an issue, just annoying. I hope Ferg has a good trip, he should be back home by Monday. I'm sure he'll eventually find the Concours 914 he's been dreaming about, until then this will keep him in the club.
