Do these things work? WOuld they work in the 914s of the world. They seem like cute LED toys.

Well i have played in the world of boost controllers a bit for my mazda rx-7 turbo (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif). This computer led thing is just a "piggy back" computer. Course they would work if you had some sort of forced induction. Since most 914's are n/a it would be pointless to trick the ecu for any sort of time, to add more air and fuel. From what ive read from that article its to add power but also retain the cars stock perameters so you can keep your dealer warrenty etc etc. If anyone is toying with upgrading a ecu, i would go DNHunt's way and get a megasquirt, haltech or tec 3 or whatever your fancy is.
