What, exactly, is in the Welt "short shift kit"? I have one in the car, I hate it, and I'm wondering if I can drop in the shifter from the 72? Is the kit all contained in the shifter? I would think so, but I've never seen the kit or a picture of it.
Anybody? |

IIRC the welt kit is simply a replacement lever (shorter) with a shortened "ball" pivot.
Personally I have used several short shift setups on 901 trannies and I never liked em. |
