It's time to replace the battery in our runabout, before I get to row an 1800 lb boat back to the dock.
Currenlty, it has an Interstate deep cycle. I was thinking about replacing it with an Optima Blue Top, which is about 50% more $$$. Is it worth it? Thanks |

My boat came with two Optimas 4 years ago. The boat was already 3 years old. I used one to run the porsche for a few years then put it back in the boat last week. I keep wondering how long these things are going to last! They have been killed and sat for many months at a time and I am always able to bring them back even if they are reverse polaritied! Just a good high amp/high volt jolt brings them back!
