On the toe truck. I was on my way to work, heard a "clunk" in the back end and, no go. I think something let loose in the tranny. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)
Kind of a bummer. Hopefully it's not major (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) motor runs fine but no power to the wheels. |

you guy's are good! it was the CV, the good news is, it's ok. It looks like the bolts came loose and it was laying in the A arm.
I am missing a roll pin, is it ok to run it with 1 roll pin? |

What surprised me was even with the LSD I couldn't go anywhere(quaife). I was about a half mile from home so I just pushed it the whole way. |

What surprised me was even with the LSD I couldn't go anywhere(quaife). I was about a half mile from home so I just pushed it the whole way. Hehe, I noticed the same thing when I accidentally backed my Mustang over a curb and got one rear wheel freewheeling in the air on the other side of the curb. I have an Auburn Gear limited slip, but with one wheel in the air I couldn't get anywhere. I jacked up the side that was stuck, and even then I could just barely get enough torque to the ground to drive off the jack. Had to do that 3 or 4 times until I could get a bite on pavement with both wheels. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) BTW, limited slip pricing for old 'merican cars would make you cry..
