In putting together my list for going to Deals Gap this weekend with the SouthEast collection of 914's, I thought I would share my list and see if others have some suggestions...

Radar Detector
CB Radio or Motorolla Talkabout radio (+ more for others)
Binoculars
Camera
Haul-Ass Driving Music on CDs or IPOD (or 8-track)
Extra pair of sun glasses
Sun Block
Cig lighter cell phone charger
Maps in case of separation from the group
Camping first aid kit
Insurance card
Attorney's phone number

Food
Power Bars
Water
Money

Screwdriver(s)
A few basic wrenches (10mm, 13mm, etc)
Fan belt
Extra fuses
Tire pressure gage
Quart o'oil
Shop rag
Flash light

Any recommendations on some good Late Brak'n Haul-Ass Driving Music for canyon carving?

What I have so far is:

Molly Hatchet's Flirt'n with Disaster
Lenny Kravitz Where are we runn'n?
Sheryl Crow Steve McQueen, All I wanna do, EveryDayisaWindingRoad, My favorite Mistake
Stones God gave me everything
U2 - ....

UhOh, gotta go, no more time to type...

Any more ideas from the rocky mountain crowd??

How about Van Halen's "I can't drive 65".

Better bring cab fair and a AAA card. Just incase you total your car and have to walk home. Better bring some leather work gloves and a long toe strap just incase you have to pull your car off the side of a mountain.

Enough bad thoughts. You will enjoy the road. Just don't overdrive the conditions.
