I have a Ryobi battery-powered drill whose two batteries are -- for all intents and purposes -- dead. While poking around for replacements I came across this site:

http://resurrection.uniquedynamics.com/

Is that bogus or for real?

I also came across this:

http://www.hackaday.com/2005/08/26/how-to-...on-and-upgrade/

I suppose it can't hurt to try this one out (it's free and the batteries are essentially dead).

In short, can you "resurrect" a NiCad battery?

Thx,

No! No! & No. I am in the battery Biz. Unless you have an anlalizer to measure voltage & Mah you can never know what shape your battery is in. there is no magic! (by the way it takes 3 hours to analize a battery and give you the results) If it does not hold at least 80% of it's mfg. capicity it's not going to last long. Voltage is just 1 part Mah is the capicity of charge left in the battery.
