I use eBay frequently, but always remember to be careful.
I bid on a 3.0 this week but didn't win. Today, I received FOUR second chance offers on that engine. None of the offers were from the owner of the engine. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stromberg.gif) |

Say you have 20 widgits. You list one and it gets bids of:
$10 $9 $8 $7 The $10 bid is the winner. Now the seller could offer The $7, $8, and $9 bidders a "Second Chance Offer" for their bids. The other scenario is if you had 1 item to sell but the $10 backs out then you could offer a Second Chance Offer to the $9 bidder. |
