With the activity of SS and others who are "guests" here and read all the posts maybe its time to have only registered members only on these forums?
The scams are getting old...... If "guests" want to read then they should register. leave the info, news, etc crap open to anyone. oh, 57 guests online when I posted this (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) |

OK, here's from the "opinionated one".
I lurked here for a year. Read, but couldn't post. Didn't register early because I thought maybe this was a bunch of wierdos. Who knows? I was right! Finally figured out I was a 914 wierdo in my own right - registered. I fail to see the problem! What can unscrupulous lurkers do that registered (not necessarily scrupulous) members do? Suck you into scams? Screw you on parts? Sell your sister to a biker gang? You can do that on Ebay (well, maybe not the biker thing). How many members of this Forum are registered Ebay members? I'd bet 75-80% minimum. How many members of this Forum have an IQ over 55? I'd bet at least 20% (just kidding again). Most of us are old enough to recognize a scam & stay away. Jeez, we ARE adults! Compare this group to those of the 356 & 912 gang - think not, though I love them both. We are different (oh yeah). We're West Coast/East Coast wackos - midwest probably has a hard time with us. Why should we limit our horizons? Look at the number of members here. Where did most of them come from? Lurking. Leave it alone! My opinion & I am close with Guido from South Philly! Watch it! |
