I've had VW's since I was 18, (now 46) I was driving out in the country and saw a wide body 914 for sale in a front yard, I stopped and talked to the owner, it was garbage, but he ended up being Fred V., a lot of you may have bought parts from him, he had a bunch of 914's, I ended up trading a 71 Super for a 73 2.0, before and after pics below. This car was my first attempt at a full restoration, it was my first paint job. I have had 4-5 since then.
