I was 16 years old and had so much hair that I had to always leave the top off my newly acquired 914...but I was cool!!!! Then came marriage, kids etc etc and the 914 was not a practical family car...a sad day...it had to go...sold it for the down payment on a house--I bet you can't do that nowadays! 32 years later, I'm back and loving loving it!
