Currently have haggerty, but may be shopping, as in my state, WI, there is new language to the policy, which may be included/added to all renewals, which specifically excludes any physical damage or liability coverage for any "event" other than a car show. This includes any instructional track time, auto cross, time trials, track touring, as well as other car competitions, such as "bouncing" or audio contests.
Not that I would even think of turning in a claim if while auto crossing I ended up on my roof, but... I need to be asking some more quesitons, doing some research. |

You won't find any insurance that covers you for any AX or track event. All classic car insurance requires you to have another vehicle as a daily driver and has limitations on how you are supposed to use the classic. I only keep my 914 insured so I can drive it to repair shops without pulling the trailer around in L.A. traffic. I'm sure if they saw what my car looks like now I'd get dropped in a heart beat. |
