After the demise of my 1st autox car (VW GTi), a friend of mine suggested that I build a 914 for C Street Prepared. Seeing as I was already looking for a car that had a lower CG than the wabbit, and it was german, and it wasn't a "typical" Porsche, made it a good idea in my head.
Now, 12 years later, I'm still wondering why I thought a 914 could have been a compeititve CSP car.. But at least I'm now down in DSP... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) -Josh2 |

In 1978 my friend bought a 75 914 off the orig. owner. About a month later I'm riding shotgun(where else?) and he lets off in the middle of a tight turn. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) We ended up across the road, car sitting upright on the passenger side with drivers side wheels in the air before falling down on all fours. No damage except a rolled rocker panel. Ten years ago he took it off the road and it had been sitting in his garage till last year when I talked him into selling it and putting it back on the road. So you could say I have a little history with mine.
