I have decided to put pins in my front hood and install a gas door so I dont have to remove the whole hood everytime I get gas. I have seen some that looked cool or as cool as possible but I am having trouble finding any or where to buy them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Mustang, Ford 150 size door in my hood, anything smaller would be hard to get your hand into to remove the cap. The GT style is the way to go for the original look, i've installed mine so I can got that route if i choose to at a later date.
the flush mount is the look i am happy with right now. Attached image(s) ![]() |

That is what I wanted to hear and see. A door is one thing but having it actually work for me is another. Thanks for the info on the door. Now if I can just hear from Joe (Series9) on how he did his CF hood pins and get some pics of it, I can get a little direction on what to do next. This is all for the Chalon, I want to get it done this year if I can just get things sorted out a little more. Work has been keeping me busy and having today off got me thinking it was time to move forward on the car or sell it. Since I have so much into it and it really is not very far from being done, I decided to start working on it again and get it done. |
