i thought my threads were mine. and i WAS free to delete anything I put into this site or any other site. as well as my posts to other threads.
because they are MY posts and threads. as well as i did not sign my rights over to anyone to control MY content.


my thoughts on trekkors thread:
anyone who jumps on the "tease me" band wagon increases the chance of me picking up my shit and leaving.
maybe someone wants me to go and i asked for it by posting something very offensive?
could happen i suppose...

on the other side of the coin, antagonists need to be policed. peers can do this as well as admins. freedom requires personal responsibility or it just won't work.

ive seen it too often how quickly a lynching squad can form, and i've seen a decent guy want to get the *uck outta' here because of how easy it is to criticize someone on a online forum.
the anonymity makes for easy witch hunt creation and any A-hole can post any *ucked up thought he wants without repercussion.

i did think about picking up my $hit and leaving but i have many decent personal relationships with some of the other guys and will not let some pencil-dick undermine those relationships.
i like these guys to much.
add them to your "*ucked-up people" list like i did and carry on.

trek, stick with it. you do get frustrated by a couple of antagonists in particular but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
you've got your beliefs but understand, you may need to be prepared to handle the repercussions of expressing them.
