Hi,
What does a generic Mass Air Flow sensor measure? Does it measure volume? velocity? pressure? And, is there a generic one that could be read via a serial cable to a laptop? A kit is cool, or a homemade version is also fine. Rich |

Here is another chart for the mustang MAF. This one is a bit more detailed. Mustang MAF chart For your purposes though, if you are just matching, the specs do not matter as much, since you are looking to get the same voltage reading for both heads. When looking for a MAF, try to find one that is reasonably clean. Since it is basically a heated wire, dirt and oil will affect its reading. Once again, even this is not that important, since you are just matching readings. You can usually pick up a ford MAF pretty cheap. I just bought one for my megasquirt conversion for $10 on ebay.
