I have built a 1911, I have the option of putting early 1.7 heat exchangers on or putting later two piece exchangers on, what is the opinion, I have always had problems with exhaust leaks with the one piece system, I was thinking that the two piece system may be better since the j-pipe would install very easily. ???

I just sold a full SSI HE setup last year, This wil be a daily driver, I have access to multiple early 1.7 HE's, since my wife and I will be using this car as a weekend beach cruiser also(yes we have beaches in Michigan) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I would like heat, so the one piece 1.7 HE with heat hardware will do the trick.
Thanks! |
