What is the racing trick to keep these sucker tight???
Is it just part of weekly maintenance??? Or, is there a fabbed kit out there to put in longer bolts and a nylon nut on the back? Or, how about drilling out the heads and wiring them in somehow????? Rich |

I believe that the washers are narrowand seriated. We also use the 2 hole plate. Once torqued. they seem to stay tight, but we check them every other race or so. (While road racing does not stress them that much, missed down shifts and bumps while accellerating can be sharp loads.)
