do you guys see any problems relocating the battery to trunk temporarily because of dead battery box? I will splice the terminal cables and extend them with extra terminals into the trunk. Any problems with that? Is only temporary, have any of you ever done that?

Most all the seams from the firewall to the trans mounts have been welded. The white stuff (light gray,actually) is....what else, primer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif). I did that with the original conversion, bout 4-5 years ago.
