I'm with the school of thought that it's your car/money, do what you want. I'm a fan of the type 4 engine in an original 914/4 myself. If I had a 914/6 I'd be thrilled, if I had a roller and did what I wanted to it...an STi motor would be hard to pass up. As long as it looks and runs well I'm cool with what ever motor is in it.
