I was considering on selling the 914, but now i'm more and more turning towards the idea of making it a racer.

I have some clues about the exterior, but i don't really know how to threat the interior.
I'm thinking of going really basic: no carpetting, bucket seats, ...

Blank points are: dashboard.

Can you show some pics of racing interiors?

Don't tell anyone but they are home made. My wife was a pattern maker at a furniture company for about 10 years, and after I took factory shells, cut them apart, and extended the bolsters with fiberglass, and cut holes through for belts and shoulder harnesses and submarine belt, she upholstered them with some automobile cloth.
So I guess they are flesburg seats.

They really do work well on the track at DE events, no slipping and sliding around at all. No more sore thighs or lower back from trying to hold yourself "on" the seat. Stock 914 seats are ok on the road, but pretty inadequate at track events.

By the way, they have been reupholstered one time, were first made in about 92, after the 3.2 engine and 9 inch wheels.
