If you have 245's on 9's in the back, to keep the same stretch on the tire, you should go with 225's on 8's in the front. If you put a 245 on the front, it would bulge out more than the rear and possibly look awkward.
Also is this a street car? Will these tires ever see the rain? How often do you push it? A street car that might see the rain will drive better and get better (slightly) gas milage with the 225's on the front. But if you plan on hitting the autox and get competetive with this setup, or you constantly push the car on the street, you might want to go with a balanced 245 F 245 R setup... IMHO go with a 225 on the front. |
