Thinking of a V8 conversion still and I cam across a 1997 LT1 350 Ram air 305 hp Aluminum heads. It is a rebuilder. Owner says it had a noise in the lower end. Not a rod knock?? Heads are off and valves are good, not bent. $650.

John Thanks. I have enough 914s scattered that I won't fall into lurk mode. I have a 3.2 six that is sitting and could fit into the 914, but I started looking at what is left to do and it makes more sense dollar wise to buy a 914-8 allready done or sell the 3.2 and convert to the V8.
I am leaning towards the sage advise of Rhodyguy and buying one completed and swapping componnents from that car to the JLO car. The completed car has some body and suspension issues. I will keep you posted as to which way I turn. CCLINCHEVPORSCHMODE |
