I bought a 1981 VW Caddy (pickup) from a soldier that works the Supply end of the Army. He scooped this truck before it could go off to public auction.
1981, 1.6 diesel, 5 speed. Here's where you come in: the guy tells me that it came from VW N/A like this; camo, 2 X 4 heavy steel bumpers, pintle hook, bed rails etc. It's also lifted 2" front and rear and used to sport 15" rims. Notice the distance from the tire to the wheel well. Military war time tail lights and I'm digging the whippy antennae.
