I have a 74 1.7L with a bigbore kit. The prior owner autocrossed the car and had a nice supertrapp muffler header setup that worked well for him. I don't race the car and it is quite loud for a daily drives. I have the S/S heat echangers and a 4 tip monza muffler in good shape. I know the vehicle will be quieter with the muffler on but I am concered about the following.
I do not plan on hooking up the heat, will the heat exchangers vent more hot air into my engine compartment then the headers? Should I hook up all the ducts and j pipes or just leave them off? Thanks |
