this is the t-stat on a -6 engine.

when testing the t-stat, how obvious is it when the mechanism opens?

i put my t-stat in oil and heated it to 200° F, according to a kitchen thermometer. i couldn't see any noticeable change in the t-stat mechanism. WUWD?!? (wattupwitdat) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
