I have an extra set of fuchs for my racer but when I bought them from the PO, I just put them all in storage and didnt look closely.
Now I go to get them out to clean up and mount tires, and ONE of the three has black paint in the usual places. How can I strip that paint to match the other three without ruining the factory finish? On my first 914 I thought I was being cool by power wire brushing & polishing the wheels. That looked great for about the first year until they oxidized and turned mostly black. So how do I "restore" this one wheel without having to do them all? The other three look great. Stu |
