I mis-aligned my 12 pin connector on the relay board (less than a week after reading where Andy did this same thing) and burned up my Pertronix. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) This lead to re-installing points and condenser (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) . For the life of me, I could not locate my timing mark when setting the timing. Verified TDC and repainted that mark thinking it might be more visible. Another 30-45 minutes of wasted time before I realized that I couldn't time off the #2 plug wire. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) Feeling remarkably confident, if not challenged, I moved on to adjusting my shifter. I noticed that 5th had become a challenge when in AZ (it had been on jack stands awaiting parts since) so I decided an adjustment was in order. I spent the next 1.5 hours "chasing" the correct shift pattern before I looked behind the rubber boot and found this. I was chasing my ass. Feeling stupid is easy.
