Attended the Great Porsche Show Off in Knoxville, TN this morning. My LE was the only 914 there but two other 914 owners came out to look at the cars. I was surprised that my car drew so much attention as quite a few people stopped to check it out.
Met three other 914 owners - one has a '73 that he bought in '73 with just a few thousand miles on it. Now it sits in his garage awaiting a clutch and general maintenance as it has not been driven in quite some time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
Another has a 914 in his garage that belongs to his son. He jokingly said he would sell it for very little just to get it out of his way (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)
And the third guy has a '70 914-6. Yep, sitting in his garage. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
Oh, and there was a guy who had a 914 at one time but no longer. He brought out a 1.7 engine and a side shift transmission to sell.

The picture is near the end of the show so many of the cars had already left. There were Porsches ranging from a 356A all the way up to a new Boxster.
