So I bought this rolled copper washer but I think it is too big, is it supposed to compress and close the distance to the plug.
The drain plug diameter is 12mm, the washer is 14mm ID and 20mm OD, something tells me I bought the wrong one. Should I have purchased 12mm ID ones instead ?? Let me know what you think. Sorry my 1.7 engine did not have the correct washer to begin with. So I dont have an original one to compare. If anyone has source for them it would be appreciated. Thank you Ted     |
