It can be difficult to get into first gear sometimes when coming to a stop. Even if you clutch cable is adjusted properly, the "technology" for the day and age just was what it was (or is what it is in present tense).
Did Porsche or VW ever document the issue officially? For example, releasing a service bulletin that says something like "come to complete stop to get into first gear without crunching the gears"? Curious... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) |
