I noted this in my first post. I looked around the interwebs and found a couple instances with the same issue.

I'm not sure of the significance of this, if any. I'm only basing the 7 digits on these guides: http://www.p914.com/p914_vin.htm http://www.bigporsche.com/history914w.htm And I did find this similar thread but no real resolution: http://www.914club.com/bbs2/index.php?show...p;#entry1005459 Or is it a remanufactured engine and I'll see that mark if I clean off more gunk? |
