Rotors, pads, shocks all around. A long procrastinated project finally came together. Greenie and Rhodyguy came over today and we thrashed on my car all afternoon. At the end of the day I had new Bilstein strut inserts and rear shocks, new hubs/rotors and Porterfield pads. Best of all...a nice firm pedal! Even the parking brake works great. I'm sure the shocks and struts were original to the car and the pads had no meat left. Went for a test drive and it felt like a new car.
There is no way we'd have gotten it all done if I wasn't so skilled at staying out of the way. My hat's off to them. Thanks guys. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) |
