Hi All,

Looks like I need to replace the CV's on my '74 2.0. I can slide both axles easily from side to side creating the banging noise I was trying to diagnose.

I can get two new axle assemblies from Porsche for about $575 with shipping or I can get a set of these from Racer Chris for about $500 ...

New Lobro German Type 1 CV Joints adapted for use in 914 rear axle assemblies.

Are the Lebro's any better than the original CV joints? COst between the two is close enough that I will go with whatever is better. If the same, I will just get the new ones as there is less to take apart.

Thx.

Mike
