I've cut my gas tank in two (along its lenght) cleaned it (removed a considerable 6 pounds of dirt from it!!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) ) sandblasted, and now i want to treat it for rust prevention.
so the question is how to do so, weld first (obviously... i think (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/unsure.gif) )then what are the products used to treat the tank, and how is it done? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif)

Thanks
