1974, 2.0 914, recently converted to dual Weber carbs from the original fuel injection system. Always use premium fuel and continue to do so. Carbs are clean, as are jets, ports, etc. The car idle at times is very erratic, car will miss and run erratic as well. After driving across town maybe 20 to 30 miles it is very hard to start once engine has heated up, not over heated though. I is it wise to use a lead additive, maybe use regular gas due a lower ignite temp, what installing a inline trans-dapt glass fuel filter???? I am new to this so have a lot to learn. Thank you for help you might be able to provide. My email is: Laafh@aol.com |
