Gents,
Was curious if you had to use those door braces from seat belt bolt to door hinge bolt while welding in the plates. I have heard that when they cool they can sometimes affect door alignment etc. Is it sufficient to just keep the doors closed and the targa top on. My mechanic, if I recall correctly, said there was a technique when welding that should mitigate the problem, thus not requiring the braces. Any ideas are appreciated. |
